SO this video is all about an awesome site that my best friend will showed me the other day. The site is called | www.theroadchoseme.com | this is a really inspirational site and I suggest you go on over and read some of his blog. Dan is a man with a dream and that dream is/was to travel the world and well he is currently doing just that, him and his jeep are driving from the tip of Alaska all the way down to the southern most tip of South America.
As soon as I saw this site I started to think about why it is that I moved to Chicago. I realized that it was to chase my dreams and my career goals, but as I approached moving from Columbia, S.C. I started to think deeper about the reasons for my move. I honestly just wanted to travel and see things that I was unfamiliar with. I have now lived in Chicago for about a year and have huge dreams of moving again when I graduate in MAY from The Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago. I will be obtaining my Bachelors' degree and then I plan on traveling for a bit before I work again or go on to get my masters degree.
I figured that the best way to obtain this goal was to incorporate it in my blog and to just promote it as much as I can and to ask for help. I normally don't ask for help and usually get things on my own terms but this is a bit bigger than me at the moment so I figured what the hell, I might as well as for it and see if anyone can help me out.
If you look to the right you will see a donation button with a progress bar. I set my goal low at first to see if things would take off or not... a little amount of $100 is what I am going for at the moment. I put in the first donation to myself of $1 and want to see where it goes from here. As people start to donate I will be posting their names on the side of this page and on this post, also I will be stating their names in my future brandon explores post to come.
This is a huge dream for me, I feel I have worked really hard towards getting things done and helping others out and feel that I deserve a travel trip after I graduate from this school so this is my attempt and effort towards obtaining what it is that I truly desire. Any help is greatly appreciated and you can donate from $1-to how ever much you please. Also don't worry you don't need a paypal account to donate you just follow the prompts after you hit donate and you can donate by any method you choose.
I seriously am sooooo thankful for all the people in my life who have helped motivate me this far and helped me get to Chicago, now I am on to my next adventure of traveling mainly over to Europe when I graduate and hanging for a bit and would love the opportunity to document it as I go! I love you all and thank you in advance for your time and help!
